Bodmin Moor 101

Local author Sheron Vowden has published her first book called '101 Squares Around Bodmin Moor'. Inspired by the Dartmoor 365 book by John Hayward, first published in 1991, Vowden's book explores 101 square miles of glorious Cornish scenery, ranging from: magnificent granite tors, quaint villages, incredible prehistory, industrial activities, stone bridges, crosses, pubs, and more. It is beautifully illustrated with several black and white drawings, and includes a useful grid inside for you to cross off the squares as you visit them.

The book is available from the author and a Facebook group has been set up.

I am, of course, working my way through the squares and below is a map with the progress. Please note that this map does not provide the actual content of the individual pages which are of a published and therefore copyrighted work.

This map is not a navigation tool: you will need an Ordnance Survey map and compass to navigate across the moorland. Please consult a map prior to heading out onto the moor to check that your route does not pass through private land.
